Gasometer Schöneberg
The Gasometer Schöneberg is one of Berlin’s iconic structures. At 78m tall, you can see it from every elevated spot in the city. Originally constructed in 1913, then renovated in 1995, it now acts an event location under a ventilated canvas bubble. Guided tours to the top are offered for a spectacular but perhaps harrowing experience.

I had a ton of fun modeling the cloverleaf interchange between the A103 and the A100 for my Berlin True 1:1 Map. I hope that this crazy re-purposed gas holder tower will go nicely with the intersection, and with SvenBerlin’s excellent Möbel Höffner furniture warehouse.
