The Fairies’ Villa
Between the Parioli and Trieste district in Rome lies a mid 20’s city block commonly known as "Coppedè district" or "The fairies’ district" due to the surreal atmosphere created by the unprecedented amount of decoration that each building features. This urban villa, facing the small Piazza Mincio is probably the main attraction. Designed by eclectic artist Gino Coppedè in 1924.
