I’ve never been here, but it looked interesting on the map!
– No oil.
– Plenty of fertile land, forest and ore.
– About 7 tiles worth of buildable land.
– Lots of small rivers feeding into the main one, but the total water flow is low, so forget about dams.
– Highway, Rail, Ship and Plane connections. There’s an ‘International’ airport here IRL. The highway and rail roughly follow the real ones, except for the lack of tunnels.
– Surprisingly for Italy, the total elevation difference was just over 1024m, so elevations are nearly 1:1
