Description:

So, this is the area where Brazilian city of Florianópolis is located in the state of Santa Catarina. Part of it is on the mainland but most of the map is on the Santa Catarina Island. It has some steep hills and mountains but also a large wetland area near the starting square. There are several kilometres of sandy beaches surrounded by palm trees (I think in real life there are not that many beaches). I think the terrain could be considered challenging but on the other hand there are plenty of highways around the map. Building an airport on the existing land could be difficult but there is a shallow bay in the southern side of the map and thankfully we nowadays have terraforming tools in game 😉

It’s kinda sad you’ll propably have to pour the waste water into the beautiful marshland but later you can of course make the infrastructure more environmentally friendly. All the outside connections are maxed out. The starting tile has two highway connections and the end of one unfinished railroad line that leads to a four-track high speed rail line on the outskirts of the city.
