Japanese Romaji Names [BETA]
Adds Japanese names for people (roughly 110 first names of each gender plus 200 surnames), residences (again, 200ish), districts (100 or so), and adjacent town/connection names (over 200 possibilities) to the game. This mod is entirely in romaji (Roman script) and thus works with English Skylines.
Road names have been semi-Japanified: although the names are in Japanese, Skylines uses the same names for roads as for people, which means that they don’t actually sound like road names in Japanese. But… Japanese roads usually don’t HAVE a name, so 100% authenticity is actually impossible.
I would put up a version with the vanilla names removed if I could, but I can’t, so you’ll sometimes still see American-sounding names along with names that sound half-Japanese. If the frequency bothers you… sorry? Pretend it’s Yokosuka or Honolulu maybe?
