Description:
Huahine by Sidai

Huahine casts a spell over you from the moment you arrive. The enchanted Huahine, with its lush forests, untamed landscape and quaint villages, is one of Tahiti’s best-kept secrets, a place where you can live like a local. A deep, crystal-clear lagoon surrounds the two islands that comprise Huahine, while magnificent bays and white-sand beaches add drama to the experience. Relatively unchanged by the modern world, Huahine offers the slower, more tranquil pace of old Polynesia. With only eight small villages scattered across the island, the few residents welcome visitors with great kindness. Not surprisingly, this fertile world offers a rich soil providing the local farmers a bountiful harvest of vanilla, melons and bananas.

Features
  • Tropical theme.
  • Optimized for 81tiles gameplay.
  • All outside connections available, they are hidden in tunnels
  • Some space to build.
  • Rolling hills and flat areas, challenging to build.
  • Beaches, Islands, mountains.
  • Custom made intersections.

It’s best suited for 81 Map Tiles, these are very detailed and optimized. There are ship routes available so reach all flat areas and Bays, but they are not interconnected to avoid stupid ships driving around like crazy.

Notes on map themes

I specifically designed this map for the map theme Bermuda Theme . The map theme is only recommended, the map is fully playable without it.

Notes on trees

Because it’s a really dense forest, i had to plopp more trees than the game allowes – ~500k instead of 250k. Because of that the Unlimited trees mod is listed as dependency. Also I plopped some trees in the water/really close to beach you need the No Radioactive Desert Mod to prevent the game to render them as dead trees.

If you don’t like subscribe to the trees, grass or filler patches, they just don’t appear ingame.

Notes on intersections and roads

Because it’s really rural island, i only used national highway from Mass Transit DLC.
