渋谷駅ハチ公口前の道玄坂下のスクランブル交差点前に立地する。1960年から1998年まで同地に存在していた「峰岸ビル」というテナントビルを建て替え、東急百貨店さっぽろ店などの不動産を管理する同社子会社の札幌プラザ株式会社が事業主となり1999年12月に竣工した。
A staple of the Shibuya landscape, QFRONT is hard to miss. Staring down over the scrambling Shibuya Scramble Crossing is the multipurpose QFRONT building.
