Designed by Jop van Epen and M.J.E. Lippits, completed in 1926, these buildings are representatives of the ‘Amsterdamse School’ building style. While not as wild as the Dageraad complex the architects could apparently not agree on how to get to the second storey producing an amusing variety of stairs. There are no big overpasses in the real buildings, but they fit in well with the Amsterdamse school esthetic of clean lines and continuous facades so I assume the architects would have approved.
