Then Procedural Objects to move them and write on them.

Some more recommended mods:

Monotube Gantry or Truss Gantry to hang your signs on.
Some nice looking fonts.

Textures:
256×256 Diffuse (Exit variant shares texture with non-exit variant)
No other maps.
