2 Broadway, Manhattan
2 Broadway, AKA Home of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, every New Yorker’s absolute favorite way to get to work. This modernist behemoth was constructed in the late 50s near the southern tip of Manhattan and merges the "wedding cake" style of New York Art Deco with the no-fluff curtain wall facade of the Internationalist Style that had just begun taking over the world.
