This mod requires the Prefab Hook Mod. Make sure that it is enabled in the content manager.

This mod will remove/replace the street lights of specific road types in your whole city.

The effect is purely visible, you can disable the mod at any time. It will not break your save games 😉

Options

Right now this mod supports 3 road types:

  • Basic Two-Way Road (Ground, without decoration)
  • Highway (Ground and Elevated)
  • Highway Ramp (Ground and Elevated)

For the Basic Road, I added the ‘Street Lamp’ option which replaces the large default street lights with small pedestrian path lights. That is useful if you want to stack a train track on top of the road at 9 or 12m height with No Pillars.

MrMaison is working on an elevated train station on top of the mod that will require this option.

I also added an option to disable the crazy spotlights of the highway suspension bridge.

You have to restart the game to apply changed options if you have already loaded a city.

Development

I can add more road types on request. I can also add new street light types (note that this is limited to default street light props).

The source code is a bit messy. If you want to help me to clean it up, please contact me.

This mod will soon be replaced by my ‘Network Skins’ mod (aka Pillar Changer), which will support different street light configurations per road segment (also purely visual, can be disabled at any time).
