Joseph Smith Memorial (Hotel Utah)
The Joseph Smith Memorial building was originally called Hotel Utah and completed construction in 1911. It is now home to 3 restaurants, including ‘The Roof’ and ‘The Garden’ which both operate out of the top level with panoramic glass wall views. Many levels of the building also serve as administration offices for the Mormon (LDS) Church. This building, while still known as Hotel Utah, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. It is located at Temple Square in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah.
