Description:

The Salt Lake Assembly Hall completed construction in 1882. It was originally used for general meetings and conferences and seats up to 1,400 people. Each of the hall’s 24 (??? I count 22, 23 if you count the center tower) spires were replaced with fiberglass moldings in 1983, and they also rebuilt the tower at that time. Currently, the Assembly hall hosts occasional weekend concerts and serves as overflow for the LDS (Mormon) church’s general conferences. It is located at Temple Square in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah.
