Angel Hearth is a large, mechanized Columbarium (organized, sanitary, remains storage and retrieval system/facility). A real world technology that is the first of it’s kind brought to Cities Skylines.
The building is used world wide to store bodies and where cremation is a cultural norm. The lack of land and space fuels the need for a site where families can pay respects to their deceased has led to the invention of giant, mechanized columbarias, where thousands of urns are stored in a vault and can be retrieved so families can pay respect. Nirvana, boasts 12 such sites across Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, and has plans for more. Brazil’s Memorial Necrópole Ecumênica in Santos is standing 14 stories tall.
