Venice Canal Roads (and Grand Canal)
Venice Grand Canal, and canal roads.
Canal Roads are zoneable and allow you to build and service residential properties on virtual canals.
use service vehicle selector mod to pick the boats for your services.
1)Flatten an area
2) lay out a road to lead to your city
3)Select the grand Canal and lay it out next to the road (make sure the height is 0, as they cannot be built sloped)
4)Zone residences along the canals
5)build services along the canals and select the boat vehicles to use with them
6)use traffic management to stop pedestrians from crossing the roads
7)zone commercial and industry on regular roads as they require cargo access
8) build bridges and lay bus routes for pedestrian access
