The area around the triangular place "Am Hof" is considered the origin of the city of Weißenburg i. Bay., Germany. Even though the building "Am Hof 9" is fairly young – having just been erected in 1978 – it fits well into the ensemble of listed historical buildings surrounding it. In 2019 it contains flats and an optician.
