Kraków, Polska (Krakow, Poland)
Presenting beautiful and historic Kraków, the second largest city in Poland and capital for over 500 years. Situated on the Vistula river, Kraków has long been an important center of trade, learning, and art. It is home to such famous landmarks as Wawel Cathedral, Wawel castle, St. Mary’s Basilica, Jagiellonian University, the Cloth Hall, as well as being the hometown of Pope John Paul II.
Map information: You start near Wawel hill in the center of the map. All industries included for playability and includes all connections except for shipping. Map started with a heightmap but all rivers drawn by hand. Land smoothed out a bit for playablity. The A4 highway is too far south of the city center to put in the map. Instead I have the 79 and 7 and Kamieńskiego to get close to Wavel Hill. I hope I have done justice to one of my favorite cities in the world 🙂 If it needs fixes, please tell me politely. I would like to have all of this information in Polski as well, but I have just started learning the Polski and it would be full of grammar errors. Dziękuję i cieszyć!
