Description:

PLEASE READ:

This is a road which is intended to be in the style of ancient Roman Roads. The road officially takes up 1 zoning square (8m width) but the surface itself is only about half of the square (approx. 4m width).

There are no sidewalks with this road, as the majority of places I intend to use it will be rural. However, the pedestrians will walk along the side of the road. You can use cobblestone decals on the sides for a good look, or just move the buildings close to the road with Move It.

The sizing of the road itself and lack of sidewalks makes it so that the nodes do not work as well as I’d hoped. There is a bit of blue glitching when it intersects with other types of roads. This can be combated by turning it into a gravel road on a straight segment before intersecting other roads.

I wanted to build this for my upcoming let’s play series titled Beliford, which will track a city from the year 1500 to the present time and be heavily inspired by London. I plan on releasing several other assets for the series, with an anticipated start date on my YouTube channel ( https://youtube.com/czardus ) around October 2019.
