Weißenburg – Former Carmelite Church
The Carmelite Church of Weißenburg, built 1350 is not used as a church any more since it was handed to the town in1544. The building is nowadays used as a cultural center, housing dance evenings and concerts, among others. Touring the church is interesting, since it has ceiling frescos, a wall painting of Valto-Santo and an old organ. The cloister garden north of the building complex is open for public since few years and is an place of peace and quietness in the town.
