Runway threshold green and red lights
Cims from all around the internet are flying in to Berlin to geek out together at #PDXCON2019 Berlin next weekend. Many may arrive at Tegel Airport (TXL) in the north-west, while others will arrive at Schönefeld Airport (SXF) in the south-east. There’s a good chance that they will fly over many runway thresholds, like the one seen here! Cities:Skylines developers, community creators and gamers will assemble at the Funkhaus, the re-purposed former DDR radio broadcasting complex, for all things Paradox and all things Chirpy. Live-streams of the event will be coming your way on Oct.18-20.
This is the first of seven assets that I will release over the next week to celebrate the event. This one was created in collaboration with modders Boformer and Elektrix. The light props require Boformer’s new mod: Custom Effect Loader. In the package are three things:
1. runway-threshold-green-light.crp
2. end-runway-red-light.crp
3. EffectsDefinition.xml
The xml tells the mod how the custom light effects should behave. You can check it out here:
