Federation House 1
Only one prop is required for this asset. The Chimney prop pack by Geze.
Australian Federation took place in 1901, but Federation Architecture defines a period roughly from the late 1890’s to the 1920’s. The style encompasses or draws on Edwardian, Arts and Crafts, Queen Anne Revival, Shingle Style, Bungalow and Art Nouveau elements.
The homes are typically:
– Freestanding or semi detatched;
– Single story with steeply pitched roofs (many of which now have converted attics with dormer windows);
– Ceilings are high and ornate;
– Roofs are terracotta or slate tiles;
– Foundations are often sandstone;
– External walls are normally dark brick;
– Leadlight windows are featured;
– along with complex skilled joinery.
This particular house is based on a home in Mosman NSW. My intention is to make a small set of Federation Houses, along with a garage prop.
Ive used 2K textures, so apologies in advance for the size of the file.
