Description:

Toulouse Mission was inspired by San Luis Obispo California.
I chose this area primarily because I was intrigued by the way the train route takes a circuitous clime through the hills on it’s way north out of town.
The map is faithful to the area with the exception of the waterway brought into the city so as to provide shipping for the game. This also required a re routing of the highway heading south out of town. The main interchange also does not exist in real life.

This map requires a fairly robust computer. It contains 497,000 trees and plants and all theme textures are 4k or a combination of 2k maps where normal maps are employed. A computer with at least 16 gig is required and I think that would be stressed. 32 gigs of ram is what I use and runs fine with that.

I was careful to choose non vanilla roads only from those not identified as mass transit. It appears there is some duplication of roads between mass transit and network extensions 2. So all roads should be from network extensions 2.
If all roads do not load on your map then you will need the mass transit DLC.

This map has it’s own custom theme, also named Toulouse Mission and uses the Chiaroscuro LUT.
I recommend using ultimate Eye Candy to boost brightness in the scene. I used settings of around 3.6 for global light and 1 for ambient light.

Also a big thank you to Mr Maison and Pdelmo for their wonderful trees and plants! This map and the game would be far less compelling without them!
