Rauma Library
A contemporary public library, fits to a 115° corner. Better stats and higher price compared to vanilla library.
New main library in Rauma, Finland was opened in 2004. The contemporary building was designed by Lahdelma & Mahlamäki architects. The facade materials are painted timber and glass. Some glass parts of the facade are decorated with lace print, reflecting the city’s history of lace making. Architects named the building Laituri, or Pier in English; not only one part of the building looks like a pier but the building itself is located next to the city canal.
Asset can be found in education tab.
The building fits nicely to a 115° corner. See the picture in the slideshow above for placement guide.
Lot size: 8 × 9
Compared to vanilla public library the construction and upkeep costs are slightly higher but the other stats (e.g. range) are slightly better.
The building consists of main model and two sub building models. All the models use identical texture files; use of Loading Screen Mod is highly recommended to improve performance.
Main model: about 1940 tris, 1024 × 1024 textures
Lod model: 177 tris, 256 × 256 textures
