Bayterek
Hello, dear subscribers and other game fans!
This is my new unique building – "Bayterek" from Nur-Sultan (Astana) city.
In reality, this building is a monument, but I made it to play with the type – Unique building.

The monument was built as a symbol of the transfer of the capital from Almaty to Akmola in 1997.
The significance of “Baiterek”, as a symbol of a new stage in the life of the Kazakh people, is emphasized by the artistic composition “Ayaly alakan” (Kaz. Ayaly alakan – “caring hands”), with an imprint of the president’s right hand, located at a height of 97 meters, which symbolizes 1997 – the year of the proclamation of Astana as the new capital of the state and, accordingly, a new reference point in the history of the country.
“Baiterek” with its location and compositional structure expresses the cosmogonic representations of the ancient nomads, according to the legends of which the World River flows at the junction of worlds. On its shore stands the "Tree of Life – Baiterek" (Kaz. Baiterek – "poplar", also "support, defender"), which holds the earth with its roots and supports the sky with its crown. The roots of this tree, respectively, are in the underworld, the tree itself, its trunk – in the earthly, and the crown – in the heavenly.
Every year, in the crown of the Tree, the sacred bird Samruk lays an egg – the Sun, which is swallowed by the dragon Aydahar, living at the foot of the tree of life, which symbolically means the change of summer and winter, day and night, the struggle of Good and Evil.
“Baiterek” means a young, strong, growing tree, symbolizes a state that has retained its historical roots, has strong support and a striving for future prosperity.
