Toronto Style High School 11
The eleventh High School in my on-going collection of schools from Toronto.
This specific school was designed by "Page and Steele" and opened in 1965. This school is built in a compact but tall design compared to the sprawling campus’s found in the suburbs to compensate for the lower amount of space available in the denser neighborhoods of the old City of Toronto. The school was designed as an occupational school for students who struggled at the elementary level. Today the school functions as an adult education centre and ESL centre although the swimming pool was filled in due to no longer having any use.
The facility is 5 stories and consists of 28 standard classrooms, 8 Science Labs, Auditorium, Cafeteria, double gymnasium, 25m swimming pool, and library
Cost to Build: $30,000
Upkeep: $480
Size: 9×10
Capacity: 1200
