Description:

This adds a dropdown box to the Asset Property Editor that allows the reassignment of a given asset’s UICategory.The intended use of this mod is to ease the reassignment of assets into main categories using (mostly) safe known UICategory types.This will allow for custom assets to appear under a monument tab, or a road type tab, irrespective of the primary categorization.

Use
  • Load asset to be reassigned in Asset Editor.
  • Click on the drop box labeled "UICategory".
  • Select new asset category.
  • Verify this is the intended value before saving.
Source code & Issues

Currently UICategoryes are sorted by prefab type {Building, Citizen, Net, Prop, Transport, Tree, Vehicle}, and additional types (not represented by an existing asset) are not listed.A future update may include a toggle button that would allow users to enter a raw text value."Toggle Asset Properties Panel" is suggested to access the Properties panel where the Asset Editor automatically hides it. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=451710073
