Full Diamond Interchange
Full Diamond Interchange is smooth, simple and very efficient interchange which works extremely well without any mods or DLC. Size is 44×44 and slopes are very gentle, so it should not have terrain issues.
You can further increase traffic capacity by simply increasing lanes with DLC/mod roads. Use mass transit 2 lane and 4 lane highways instead of one of the three highway ramps and 3 lane highway. You can go even further by upgrading all highway ramps to 2 lane highways and having 6 lane highways from network extension mod instead of current 3 lane highway.
You can also smoothen the entry/exit by using TMPE lane connector or all the nodes in the interchange. It’ll make entire junction flow perfectly.
You should have enough space before and after interchange, so cars can change the lanes smoothly.
