Cutter-typed Sailing Ship
This is a sailing ship that is called ‘Tjalk’ in the Netherlands. This is a cutter-typed ship. It has one mast and was used for transportation on inland waters since the 17th century. Nowadays, the dutch canals are full of old ships like this, most of the times in use as a house boat.
