Desdemona Map
Hello, my friendly Mayors. This is my first map" Desdemona" … it’s named after the daughter in the Shakespeare play "Othello".

Desdemona is a character in William Shakespeare’s play Othello c. 1601–1604. Shakespeare’s Desdemona is a Venetian beauty who enrages and disappoints her father: Brabantio, a Venetian senator, when she elopes with Othello, a Moorish man several years her senior. When her husband is deployed to Cyprus in the service of the Republic of Venice, Desdemona accompanies him. There, her husband is manipulated by his ensign Iago into believing she is an adulteress, and, in the last act, she is murdered by her estranged spouse.
Brabantio, heartbroken … takes the body of his daughter home back to Venice, and he builds a shrine for her body.
This map is named after Desdemona: the province named in her name, it is in honour of her, and the shrine is still here today.
This is a vanilla Map – but with the Realistic Theme (see required items) .. and LUT: just use the vanilla Temperate – but if you feel you know a better LUT: please I advise you to use it.
I only used 175,000 out of 250,000 trees, and they are all vanilla, so you have 75,000 trees to play with before you have to use a Mod.
This map is made for 81 tiles – it is playable with 9 or 25 tiles (but that is boring!), 81 tiles is best because I made an extra area (switch off the fog for this) with a 4th road and a 4th rail connection. that you can easily connect to the main areas.
I made the shorelines very low .. so my map IDEAL for the new fishing industry of the Sunset Harbor DLC: the fishing boats fit the docks – and I know Tuna is difficult to add to the map – and I spent 5 hours in the game to give you a little bit of Tuna.
Also: this map is also optimised for Industries DLC, because I added very much ore and oil for you.
I hope you enjoy my map .. it is my first map. I have been watching over 400 hours of What Map videos by BonBonB on YouTube ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCu2E7WDF49QL3WwNqWA1Xrg/videos ) … and he thought me a LOT of making a GOOD map .. and also my map-making heroes are ecania, Sidai, Random5, MrMiyagi, It’s Ok! .. and many more I forgot now., but they helped me a lot too.
I have tested this map a lot, and I asked a good few "good" map creators to test my map … I think there are no problems for you to build the most amazing city.
