Description:

Another Sydney bus to add to your fleet, advertisements have been placed around this bus – as they are on the real thing. Some have no advertisements, larger or smaller boxes (similar to this), others were entirely plastic wrapped..

The Scania L113CRL uses a 234 bhp Scania Euro 1 engine, on a Scania 3-series chassis. 54 of these buses entered service through 1996-1998 (specifically the Scania L113CRL varient) and remains in service today. The body is built by Ansair and was the first wheelchair-accessible low floor bus model in the NSW Transit fleet.

This bus is renown to have issues when temperatures exceed 30 degrees celcius. The high air conditioning setting required on these days often causes the engine to overheat, due to a design issue with the engine. As a result, on hot days, the air conditioning has to be turned off, leading to an uncomfortable ride for passengers. In most cases, the engine will still overheat with the AC turned off.

Fun fact: On 15 September 2016, Bus 3726 caught fire and burnt on the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
