St. Mary’s Cathedral, Tokyo
St. Mary’s Cathedral, also known as the Sekiguchi Catholic Church, is a Catholic church located in the Sekiguchi neighbourhood of Bunkyo, Tokyo in Japan. It was designed by Kenzo Tange and was completed in 1964. The layout of the building is in the form of a cross, from which eight hyperbolic parabolas open upwards to form a cross of light, which continues vertically along the length of the four facades.
