This is San Diego, California – America’s finest city!
The city is located in the very South of California, close to the Mexican border.
The terrain is based on a heightmap and therefore a really accurate replica of reality. I found out that a 15 x 15 km square in terrain party is the perfect size for the game’s road scales. So here you are. I used an overlay mod to get perfect results.
Groups of trees mark the real life locations of San Diego’s city parks.
All highway interchanges are made by hand – and it would be a lie to say I’m not proud of that. 🙂

All screenshots are taken with Owl’s beautiful LA map theme which creates the nice dry grass California effect you can see. But it also allows the fertile green in the river valleys.
