Plattenbau WHH13 Halle-Schülershof
Hello Folks,
today I present you my last asset for the year 2020. A big thanks to all of you for supporting me and my assets for the past year! I hope you continue to do so in the upcoming year as well 🙂
This 13-floor tall housing tower has been planned and built near the city center of Halle, the Schülershof, adding a 42 meter tall structure to the rather flat city skyline.
I recreated this tower with original blueprints I found, which date back to the year 1969. The original block was finished around the year 1970.
After standing tall for about 40 years without much change, a decision was made to renovate the structure. 6 floors were taken of the original height, to better integrate the rather bulky building into the historical skyline of Halle (Saale).
In the process of shortening the building, the tower had been given a fresh coat of paint.
Now for the model:
This asset consists of 2 towers with 4×3 lot size, one with color mapped balconies, the other with a color mapped facade. Both versions are RICO enabled. The original building has 68 homes, the renovated one 34.
Both blocks share the same base texture file, so users of the Loading Screen Mod can save on RAM here.
