The BRZ is a sports car jointly developed by SUBARU (formerly Fuji Heavy Industries) with Toyota Motor Corporation.
This is Subaru’s first mass-market rear-wheel drive vehicle.
Under the Toyota brand, the brother car Toyota 86 is on sale, and both cars will be produced at the Subaru Gunma Seisakusho main factory.
A model developed with the aim of being compact, lightweight, and having a low center of gravity.
The origin of the car name is B for Boxer Engine, R for Rear wheel drive, and Z for Zenith.
This model is the second generation BRZ, and on November 18, 2020, the US specification car was unveiled at the world premiere for the first time in the world. It is scheduled to be released in the US from the fall of 2021, and the release in Japan is undecided at this time.
