TwoWayHwayDesign1
Improved version – now the LOD should work.
I tried to design a way to make triple-decker highways easily so that they wouldn’t look flimsy. If you like the idea but not the design, let me know and I’ll model different pillars.
The highway has 2 lanes to both directions.
Probably the easiest way to build stacked highways:
-subscribe to Move It and Fine Road Anarchy mods. Make sure they’re the latest versions. (Optional: No Pillars -mod)
-make the highest level first
-copy it with Move It, move all the copied stuff to the side as is
-use Fine Road Anarchy to force-upgrade it to the elevated version of the same road
-remove pillars with Move It or No Pillars. Move It seems to work better
-you can apparently also make a copy where you leave buildings uncopied – see Move It documentation for further info
-make another copy. This will be the ground level road. Move this further away.
-move middle section back to place, adjust height with Move It and page up / down keys on the keyboard
-force-upgrade the ground level road to the ground level version of the road, move back to place
Obviously you can use any roads at the middle and ground levels.
If any of you happen to know an easy way to remove the suspension wires from suspension bridges, let me know. I would like to make something else but don’t know that bit.
