Old East York Municipal Office
This building was constructed in 1948 to act as the municipal hall for the Borough of East York and replace the smaller Town Hall. The building would be expanded in 1963 and then again in 1975 when one of its 2 courtyards was filled in for more office space. This building would serve as the municipal office for the Borough of East York until it was replaced in 1990 with an new East York Civic Centre. This building was subsequently torn down shortly after the opening of the new building and nothing remains of it today.
