Five to seven storey office building complex. The complex consists of two parts of the building. There are shops on the ground floor. The other floors are used as offices. On the upper floor of the left part of the building there is a restaurant with a roof terrace or roof garden. The facade design of the left part of the building is based on aluminum elements that are currently used in commercial buildings in many places. In the right part of the building, the clinker brickwork is in the foreground.
The complex is inspired by projects from Hamburg and Paderborn. In his design, however, represents its own interpretation. Although the respective building halves with clinker brick and aluminum are in the foreground, these should correspond with one another in terms of facade and color elements. This includes the concentration on white and brown tones, the same storey and window heights, repeating door and window elements as well as the use of the horizontal aluminum elements on both facades.
Different shades of light are assigned to the illumination. For stairwells – as escape routes – a bright light. Different, rather warmer light colors for shops and offices. Thus, the windows shine at different times in different light colors or intensities.
This release is done as a small set. Firstly, it contains the entire complex with both side parts, which is recommended as a solitary, free-standing building complex with Props and Trees (see screenshots). Secondly, as an encore, it includes the two parts of the building as separate structures (without Props and Trees). These are then provided with simple so-called fire walls at the original connections. These are recommended as the end or corner points of a closed row of buildings (see screenshots).
The total effort for the entire model (including the two separate building halves) is around 60 hours. In the case of your own designs, determining or setting the color palette always takes a little more time than in the case of pure reproduction.
