Description:
New RTW Fence

A new Fence set for my RTW collection.

The set consists of:
– A new fence with a colorable grid
– A new 4m section (with color map)
– A new 8m section (with color map)
– A stone fence column

I have rebuilt my RTW Fence to unify its two versions (terrain conforming and elevatable) in a single network with two types of segments: ground (terrain conforming) and elevated (floating). Also now you can change the color of the grid with the Network Skins 2. I have also added a color map to the fence sections (PROPs).

In this way it get an important advantage: gather two fences in a single networks.

Of course, old items are obsolete, although I will not remove them from the Workshop for now.

NOTE
– You need the Network Tiling MOD to make the grid look properly.

Problematic columns

After many tests and deliberations of whether or not to put columns, how many, with what separation, etc, I have decided to only leave the ends and junctions columns.

The biggest drawback of creating a network mesh with columns is that when you place a segment in the game you will always have that number of columns regardless of the size of the placed segment. If the segment is short, these columns will be very narrow and close together. If the segment is very long, the columns will be wide and separated …

If you add columns as PROPs to the network, you must specify a separation which will always be the same, but starting from the center of the segment; so, the number of columns will depend on the length of the placed segment, but last columns will always be very close to those at the ends, corners or junctions.

As I have not added PROPS columns nor Mesh columns, you can place as many columns as you want and with the separation that you like the most. And also, alle columns will always have the same size. I only advise you to use the Prop Line Tool MOD to place them more easily.

Highly recommended MOD,s:

Find It! 2
Prop Precision
Network Skins 2
Move It
Network Tiling
Loading Screen Mod
Node Controler
Prop Line Tool
