High-speed MAGLEV train
Welcome to the transportation of the future!
MAGLEV stands for (MAG)netic (LEV)itation. MAGLEV trains are driven only by magnetic fields. Unlike a monorail, which usually refers to a classic drive system with wheels (horizontal and or vertical). Since maglev trains are not hindered by the friction of wheels, they can reach much higher travel speeds of up to 600 km/h. In a vacuum tube (as proposed by the Hyperloop system: Hyperloop track asset), even speeds above the speed of sound are possible.
I designed this MAGLEV train to operate specifically with my Modern MAGLEV track. Of couse you can also use the vanilla monorail track.

Operating speed: 625 km/h
To reach those speeds, you need my Modern MAGLEV track. At speeds above 500 km/h the train "derails". That is a visual glitch, that occurs with all train / monorail assets. If you think the speed is too high, you can use Advanced Vehicle Options (Sunset Harbor) to adjust the operating speed.
It was inspired by a Chinese prototype MAGLEV, which will never be built though, so you can now enjoy it in game.
