The former SS Australis ( available here ) was sold to Thai hoteliers in 1993. The plan was to tow her to Thailand, where she would serve as a luxury hotel. After repairs from years of neglect, she was attached to tugboats and departed Greece in 1994. Just out of the Mediterranean, a large storm broke the lines to the tug, and she grounded at Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands. The former SS America ( also available ), having survived WWII, broke in half and was declared a total loss. Locals looted it for its furnishings and metal.
The wreck gained an international reputation in the following years. The stern collapsed in 1996, but the bow held out until 2006, becoming an iconic shipwreck and a Canary islands tourist attraction. Today, scattered remnants are all that is visible at low tide.
This is a shipwreck. It is broken in half past the second funnel. The biggest shipwreck in C:S!
Ploppable asset, conforms to terrain (so can be placed underwater). It can be placed in the map editor as well!
If you use LSM, most textures should be shared, which will reduce the overall size.
