Ruffino Paints takes inspiration from M.Schames Paints in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. I really liked the colorful PAINTS sign and adopted a new name to fit in the Little Italy collection.
A building similar to others I have used in the collection. For this one I have made the brick paintable because this is a paint store afterall 😉
This paint store is part of my Little Italy collection. I plan to publish in the coming months where I take independent Italian American businesses with appealing vintage signage that have endured for decades in places like NYC, Philly, Detroit, St Louis, SF, etc.. Expect to see pasta shops, cheese shops, cafes, bakeries, butchers and much more.
