Description:
CLN: COLOREABLE LINES NETWORKS

Pack of eight (now twelve) different colorable lines networks.

With this article, I wanted to rebuild my STRIPPED LINES and STRIPPED LINES DECAL to replace them using the same concepts as my RSKL ROAD SKIN LINES, that is, ground and elevated segments in the same network plus sunken segments apart. Ground and sunken segments are terrain conforming, the elevated one No. In addition, as they can also be colored, they also replace my YELLOW STRIPPED LINES and YELLOW STRIPPED LINES DECAL.

In this way it get some important advantages over all older ones:

1 – Collect all old versions on individual networks. Each network replaces four of the old ones: Regular, Decal, Regular yellow and Decal yellow.
2 – Make up for the lack of sunken lines for use on streets and avenues with sidewalks.
3 – Because they can change color with Network Skins 2, now they can no longer be just white or yellow, but can adopt any color to cover any circumstance.

All netrworks use the same texture set maps.

Placing this line on a curved ramp is not too complicated. Try to match its nodes with those of the road, although it is not essential, and use the Node Controler MOD to solve the slopes.

NOTES
– I have taken the Vanilla Pedestrian Path as a template. It means that these items tend to stick to footpaths and the like. Therefore, if you plan to put a CLN Line on or near a pedestrian path, first put it outside and then move it to the correct place
– Some CLN Lines, like Dashed or Dotted ones, need the Network Tiling MOD to make them look properly.

I have to point out that these lines have not been designed for main road stripes. For this it is better to use any other, such as my RSKL, but they have been made to cover any other road lines or decoration need.

– CLN 180 Chevron

REVERSIBLE AND NOT REVERSIBLE

Why are chevron networks not "reversible"? it’s a matter of logic: Cities Skylines applies reversibility transversally, not longitudinally, because otherwise, the diagonal striped lines could not be reversed. Look at the last picture, the diagonal stripes networks are exactly the same whether you build them from left to right or if you put them from right to left. Even if you rotated them 180 degrees, their diagonals would always tilt in the same direction. To reverse them you have to do it from top to bottom. In contrast, chevron lines don’t change when reversing them from top to bottom because their two upper and lower halves are symmetrical. On the other hand, you can revert chevrons by placing them in the opposite direction. In the third video it is clearly seen.

CHEVRON CASE

Chevron networks are something special. I have built them in such a way that they always finish tip. therefore the unions between two segments are not perfect. To maintain consistency in very long sections that require several juxtaposing segments, don’t build them in one stroke. Divide the section into pieces and place one behind the other with some overlap. See the second part of the third vieo.
