Track switcher, waiting line by Flumpmuncher
When I have two tracks that can be parallel for a while where freight transfer is required but there is too much freight to join and seperate the tracks then this is a nice solution. If necessary both main lines can continue unhindered while the crossing train waits on the central waiting line.
Tried and tested. Works well but not suitable for heavy traffic.
