Hitachi IET Class 803 – Lumo
Following the Intercity Express Programme and the further orders for Transpennine Express and Hull Trains, FirstGroup decided to expand their open access operations on the East Coast Mainline. Operating between London, Newcastle, and Edinburgh the Lumo service aims to cut into the domestic air travel market from London northwards, with low fares and entirely standard class accommodation. The service was launched in October 2021 with Lumo using 5 5 coach Hitachi Intercity Express EMU trains and will ultimately operate five trains per day in each direction.
This pack contains a 5 coach train as well a 4 coach train that is more compatible with standard length stations. Turn on/off whichever you please in the content manager.
