DB Baureihe 628
This is the German "Baureihe 628" diesel powered train, including the matching 928 non-powered car.
It has been used all over Germany since 1986* and is still in use on regional lines, particularly in southern Germany.
They are known as the "saviors of small railways", as their cheap operation on non-electrified tracks made it possible to sustain lines that otherwise could not compete against road transport.
This is the modern red version. If you are interested in the older mint version, or one that will show up in the color of its line, feel free to comment and I will try to provide the retextured models.
*The first train named 628 was built in 1975, but the shape of the 628 changed a few times. This asset depicts the state after 1986.
