Jersey, Channel Islands
This map is based on Jersey, the largest island in the Channel Islands – a small cluster of islands between England and France.
This map features 3 small rivers, 3 small ponds/lakes, plenty of natural resources and 2 plane and ship routes.
• This map isn’t 100% accurate – I have been a little bit creative with the rivers, lakes and resources, just to make it a little more interesting to play.
• The island is not 1:1 scale, I have scaled it down so you can build across the entire island, as a result I had to smooth out most of the terrain so you can build intersections (otherwise 80% of the island was too steep to build on).
• The map retains all of Jersey’s recognisable features such it’s the many bays and beaches, as well as islands that now take the place of offshore castles such as Elizabeth Castle[www.jerseyheritage.org], and small a hill in place of Fort Regent[en.wikipedia.org].
