Paper Airplane Sculpture
Named "Pitch, Roll & Yaw", this sculpture is located at the airport in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Built by artist Shannon Hansen in 2015, this 14,000 pound (6,350 kg), 32 foot (9.75 m) long, 23 foot (7.1 m) high all metal paper airplane features a wingspan of 20 feet (6.1 m) and even authentic aircraft paint! The sculpture cost around $100,000 to build and is prominently displayed to attract tourism and travel to the area!
