Description:

Welthauptstadt Germania
World capital Germania
Berlin 1950

Original:
After the victory over the french 1940 Hitler gave the order to plan and build new structures in the city of Berlin, which should represent the magnitude of the german victory.
The street-grid based on 2 axis which crossed near Brandenburg Gate. The part of the North-South Axis between the North- and South-railway stations should be lined by the most representiv buidings including the Great Hall, the Führerpalace, Souldierhall and the Triumphal Arch.
Railway traffic should concentrate on the 2 gigantic stations.
Planing was to fullfill the works in the year 1950, after which Berlin should be renamed to Germania. Few was started to build, even less completed and nearly nothing survived the allied bombing.

Cities Skyline Savegame:
What you get:
Street- and railway lines between north- and south-railwaystations, the victory column and the empirial castle are a 1:1 copy of the original Speer-plan from 1942. The underground innercity raillines for S-Bahn are included, as the rail-lines for the 2 passenger- and the north, south and east railway fright stations.
Streets and rails outside are a 1:1 copy of a citymap dated from 1943. The extensions of the 2 axis are not much more than educated guesses because I couldnt found a detailed map for the layout. The layout of the river Spree at the great hall ist changed accoring to the plan from 1942.
Districts are the original city-districtes from 1942. If you want you can rename „Friedrichshain“ to „Horst Wessel Stadt“ (The nazis renamed that district).

What you dont get:
I wanted to use as few assets as possible so that most players can use that savegame. Building every rail-line and every switch would take weeks and one would need to tare down many lines anyway to separate public- and frightrail and inner- and intercity traffic. So the rail layout represents the idea from 1942 and not every detail.
The East- and West-railway stations (located around the east- and west-railwaycrosses) are not included because they where only planed in general).
Tramlines and Subwaylines are not included.
I used only very few street-assets to minimize the need for subscribing. So the look and number of traffic-lanes of the streets dont represent the planed ones.
You will need to beautify the look of streets and of course buildings by yourself.

Issues:
Zoning blocks.
The number of blocks for zoning is so limited that you could only zone around 2/3 of the streets of this safe-game (When using 4blocks deep). So I decided to dezone all streets (There are actual 390 blocks used which I couldnt find). You will need a mod (Zone it) to zone the streets where you want to build or use Rico to plopp buildings whitout zoning.

Since the planing of this part of Berlin included only 1 highway you could get problems with traffic jams.

Mods:
The used mods are absolut standart and I think everyone will have them. You will need unlimited outside connections and 81 tiles and the few downloaded streets. Substribe the mentioned assets in game. As mentioned you will need Zone it and/or Rico to build anything.

Thanks to Amipolizeifunk for his fantastic map of Berlin.
