Haus Mecklenburg, Heiligendamm , Germany
First part of my new series „Seebad Heiligendamm“. Heiligendamm is a famous and luxirious old spa located on the Baltic Sea in the west of Rostock, Germany. Its well known for it’s wonderfull white architecture and gives important impulses to later spa architecture round about the Baltic Sea.
„Haus Mecklenburg“ is built next to the spa house as it’s expension. It was built by plans of the famous neoclassical architect Carl Theodor severin in 1814 and get extended in 1839 and 1850s. First it was a bed house for the spa house, later it becames also a bath house.
Today it’s used as an luxury hotel.
Works as a small hospital.
Patient capacity of 90
Asset only includes „Haus Mecklenburg“ not the rest of the complex you seen. The spahouse is following soon!
I spend a lot of work and time into modelling. It’s a passion, but I would be very pleased to get some donations for my work 🙂
