Hello Folks,

Merry Christmas to all of you! To celebrate, I have a little present for you. Sporting red and white colors which one could associate with Santa Claus, this Tatra tram will probably be my last asset of this year.
I pretty much re-made them since I first featured them on my twitter and some workshop screenshots, so it took some time to get them ready to upload. They are now based off my generic Tatra K2, which has better UV-mapping, more details and so on.

Make sure to give me feedback, report bugs you encounter or just type out your general thoughts on this tram, so I can use that feedback to improve the upcoming Tatra trams!

Also let me know if you are interested in a generic line-colored version of this tram, similar to my generic Tatra K5AR.

This tram consists of the two engines 1156, 1201 and trailer 222, built 1982, 1984 and 1986. All units were modernized around 1993, adding newer doors, tail lights, indicator lights, air condition for the driver, new boogies, pantographs and other details.
After being modernized, these trams drove for another 27 years around Halle (Saale). They retired in 2020, 50 years after the first Tatra tram was delivered to the city.
The depicted units are the last remaining modernized Tatras in Halle, all others have since been scrapped or given to other cities. The remaining three units are meant to be preserved as historical units.
Together these three form a so called "Großzug", the biggest possible Tatra consist cities would normally run.

I chose to represent the units in the year 2020, which is the current state they are in.
The standard Tatra T4D trams never had doors on their left side, so you can’t use this tram for lines where there is tram stops on the left hand side.
I suggest looking into my "Tatra ZT4D" and "Tatra T4DW+T4DW" if you want similar trams with doors on both sides.

The trams max speed is just like the original, 55km/h (11 in-game).
The destination indicator which reads "Trotha" (city district from Halle) has line-colored letters.
Indicator, head- and taillights are working.
The hitches between the three units are defined as their own trailers, so the coupling looks connected even in sharp turns.

I strongly advise using the Loading Screen Mod to cut down on file size, as all vehicles share the same textures.
If you want a prop version of the vehicle I advise you to use the Tree and Vehicle Props Mod and its Patch.
I don’t want to waste too much time on creating prop versions of each vehicle, so using this mod is the better option for now.
